A Pennsylvania Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Kelly V Photography of State College, Pennsylvania.

Kelly had so many wonderful things to share with you about her session with Skye:

"Skye selected my Ultimate Senior Session, which is a favorite because it gives me a lot of time to get creative and sync outfits to the perfect locations. She said she wanted a mix of urban and natural shots, and she completely rocked both!

Her hair and makeup were done by the team at Evolve Studio in downtown State College, PA (home of Penn State University), and after she was done, we walked a few blocks to a funky rusted old fire escape. It was the perfect spot for her urban images, and not too far off the ground. Although it was a very tight space, we definitely made the most of it! It ended up being a mutual favorite for both of us.

Afterward we headed out to a local arboretum and took advantage of some of the less obvious spots off the beaten path. A gorgeous new wooden walkway and bench had just been installed, so we went with a tone-on-tone neutral dress with a pop of red for color and worked all the angles for some stunning full-body shots. Then, with a little light left, Skye switched into a comfortable "me" look as she put it, and we got some fun relaxed shots in the grass.

Skye is a senior at Tyrone Area High School and her hair has been a different color every time I've met with her, so it was fun to be able to commemorate her natural shade before she experimented. (Although I can tell you firsthand that she looks stunning as a blonde, brunette AND a redhead!)"
