Warning: January’s edition of ShutterChic will be the cutest one yet! Because what’s cuter than Valentine’s Day??!! I’ve curated some of my favorite outfits and accessories to show your love this Valentine’s Day…which is in exactly ONE MONTH! Let the hints start flying, ladies. I love this particular post so much because not only would these outfits look fabulous on YOU, but they would make the most perfect Valentine’s Day styled shoot looks!
Let’s face it, the thing I love most about this first look is that you can eat pink macarons while you’re wearing it. Amirite?? I always love a lip print, but this one is so cheeky and fun, but still appropriate for work, if your dress code isn’t too serious. Lose the blazer, and you can go straight to dinner with your love!
I don’t know who is going to lunch in this, but I wanna go with them. It’s still COOOLD in February, but you can heat things up in a hot little number like this!!
Now, I’m well aware that sometimes Valentine’s Day just makes people mad, and “Netflix and chill” means what it says. This outfit cracks me up, and if I wasn’t lucky enough to have an awesome hubby, this top from Victoria’s Secret PINK is what I would be wearing next month. I think every single girl’s motto should be fries before guys.
So, this is doable. Blanket scarves have been such a thing this winter, and I love the blanket scarfy print on this Madewell coat! I think anybody could wear this outfit, and you probably already have most of the components in your closet already!
I am obsessed with red leather jackets. They always remind me of Michael Jackson! Mixing pink and red is only allowed one day a year, so GO FOR IT!! I love how girly and romantic this outfit is, and you may as well have fun with these colors while you can!
Diane Von Furstenburg just GETS Valentine’s Day!! These three pieces are all by her. I am obsessed with her lip prints from 2015!!! Her pieces prove you can be polished while having loads of fun with fashion.
Now, THIS is the outfit I would totally wear. It’s a little bit girly, a little bit baddie, and a whole lot of fun. Plus, the bracelet is from Tiffany & Co., so…WIN.
If you want to be casual chic this Valentine’s Day, you can’t go wrong with this super fun cupid sweater, distressed boyfriend jeans by Levi’s, and red Vans. DVF and Kate Spade finish off the look with the cute phone case and lippie studs.
If you’re like me and you sometimes make not so subtle hints about gifts, or just outright buy them yourself, give them to your guy, and say “hey, these are from you for Valentine’s Day,” then here’s a start! Kate Spade, Kendra Scott, and vintage Chanel are NEVER a bad thing! Spread some love this Valentine’s Day, everyone. <3
