Today’s featured senior session comes to you from Penny Claire Photography, located in Zanesville, OH!
Describe this session for us.
“This is a super fun session including so much that so many of us associate with summer time from the floppy sun hat with flowers to the flag and sparklers for the Forth of July. Brandie is an incredibly sweet individual so I really wanted to capture her fun side but also capture a more mature side of her that she maybe doesn’t always see in herself but is definitely there! I absolutely LOVE this girl and I had a blast working with her on the outfits she put together. We had such a great time during this session and I definitely feel a great sense of summer joy looking through the photos that came of it.”
What inspired this session?
“Summer, Forth of July, and of course Brandie’s great summer inspired wardrobe! All the outfits and ideas Brandie presented me with represented summer in a big way, and as we narrowed down outfits I would have ideas of small things we could possibly incorporate such as the watermelon and sparklers (that honestly gave us a pretty hard time). It was Brandie’s idea to incorporate the flag and her floral floppy sun hat which I absolutely loved ( she made it herself by the way! ) My subject is always the main inspiration of my shoots but in this case Brandie was able to bring an overall theme to her session so that was really exciting.”
What gear did you use?
“I use a Canon 6D camera with a Canon 135mm lens. I also occasionally used the silver side of my large reflector.”
Hair & MUA?
“Hair and makeup is all thanks to the amazing Danielle Hurst at Brenwood Hair and Nail Salon.”
