Today’s featured senior session comes to you from Jill Kristine Photography, located in Lawson, MO!
Jill shared about this session with us: “I love a beautiful country girl in a dirty scrap yard! As soon as I found this junky little gem, I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do for Trysten’s senior session! I kept the location a secret and when I pulled in with her and her mother they both looked at me as if I were nuts and said “This is a joke, right?” I told them to trust me, and after just 3 shots they were completely on board with my vision and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out!”
Gear: Canon 5D mark III, 50mm 1.4
Inspiration: “Living in a very small rural town in MO it is difficult to break away from the usual country /nature sessions. After finding this old school bus, it was a forgone conclusion that I had to find a girl adventurous enough to tromp through thigh high weeds to create shots that are very outside of the box for our area!”
How cool of a location!! Love the bus…the close-up of her next to it is stunning! Great work, and thanks so much for sharing with us!
Jill shared a little about herself: “I am Jill Myers, wife, mother to 3 young boys, flight attendant and photographer. I have been photographing as a hobby for about 8 years and about 2 years ago decided to make a go at a part time business. I am based in a small town outside of Kansas City MO, but because I work for the airline, I have the unique opportunity to work in AZ as well. While I am an all occasion photographer, I would love to specialize in seniors! I love that teenagers are usually willing to go with any crazy idea I might have and the excitement they carry with them during this transitional time in their lives keeps me motivated to truly represent who they are right now.”
Thanks for reading SSG!
