Today’s featured senior session comes to you from Savannah Chandler Photography, located in Denver, CO!
Here is what Savannah had to say about this session with Marcus:
“Being both a swimmer and proud Denver native, Marcus wanted to be sure and capture both sides of his personality. We began at the pool where all of his swim meets take place. To be sure and capture this talented young man in action, I shot from nearly every angle (including being nearly submerged in 9 ft. of water). We then headed downtown to capture Marcus in his favorite city. He had just recently moved back home after a two year hiatus in South Dakota, and his love for our great city was apparent. We ended the night at a quintessential Denver location, Larimer Square.”
Such a variety in this session! The swim shots are amazing! And I love the lights in the last shot! Thanks so much for your submission!
Savannah used the following gear for this session:
Canon 5D Mk III
Canon 50mm 1.2L
Canon 85mm 1.8
Canon 70-200mm 2.8 II IS
Canon 24-105mm 4.0L
Inspiration: “Marcus was greatly inspired by Michael Phelps and his recent photographs taken in the water. I wanted to capture Marcus in his own element with inspiration drawn from the Phelps sessions.
While downtown, we were inspired to capture anything and everything that screamed Denver.”
Off Camera Flash:
Two Canon 430 EX II Speedlights
Two 32″ White umbrella utilized as a shoot through
