Today’s featured senior session comes to you from Lacey M. Carroll Photography of Sacramento, California! Here is what Lacey had to say about her session!

Please describe the session:

“This is my take on Spring 2018 trends are what this session is all about. Funky mixed patterns of bold florals, color blocking and checkered patterns are going to be everywhere this spring.”

Tell us about the gear used:

“My canon 5dmkiii was the main body used but I always have my backup 6d just in case. My lenses used in this shoot were my Canon 85mm f/1.2, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8, and my Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 Also used was a 60×80 reflector for lighting and shading.”

What inspired this session?

“I love finding that my seniors & teens actually love to push the boundaries of what they normally wear in their daily life for their own senior portraits and with styled sessions like this, I can have a lot of fun and show off some of the more eclectic pieces in my StyleCloset

I love mixing prints and right now that trend is totally in! Checkered shirts and floral pants, wild colors and funky hair and makeup! It’s the definition of what I’m all about. I planned this shoot for quite some time acquiring these pieces throughout fall and winter for the final looks. My current obsessions which are a recurring theme through these outfits are paper-bag waist pants, bell sleeves and chunky boots.”
